Maple "Bandy Leg" Tall Chest

Attributed to Peter Bartlett

Salisbury, NH, circa 1800

This is a pretty little piece of furniture.  Even Jen says so.  The hardware is replaced through the original holes.  The current set of bail and rosette pulls is appropriate - at some point the original ones were replaced with backplate style brasses...then those were removed and replaced with this third set.  Antiques can be complicated sometimes, just like people.  It has a few minor lip repairs.  The surface is to die for, the size is great, this is a bargain in my opinion.

60" high; 35" case width; 19" deep
