Made in Norwalk, Connecticut, to commemorate Marquis de Lafayette’s service during the American Revolution, probably around the time of his famous tour of America in the 1820s.

Very good condition with wear and few losses to the glaze, minor chips and a tight 1 1/2" hairline (see photo).
